WELCOME TO CAKES FOR HEROES
A place where smiles and memories can be made for some really poorly children
This Non Profit Organisation is the brain child of Joanne Howard, whose dream to bring smiles and everlasting memories to some really poorly children become a reality in March 2021 when Cakes For Heroes was born.
Joanne has personal experience of having a poorly child and knows that there are a lot more children out there in need of a pick me up and how better than to do it with cake.
We cannot make these children better or take away their pain, but we can help to create an everlasting memory with their families by providing them with a bespoke cake from one of our team.
Since the launch of Cakes For Heroes we have recruited a team of over 1800 bakers across the UK and have so far gifted cakes to over 500 children. The response from bakers all over has been truly amazing and we have some brilliant supporters too.
If you know a registered baker that would like to be involved, please encourage them to come and find us on Facebook where we have a private group. If you are an unregistered baker you can still help us by fundraising etc.
If you know a child (aged 2-17 ) that would benefit from a cake then please get in touch or pass our details on so we can reach out to as many children as possible.
We provide cakes to children suffering from Life Limiting /Life Changing illnesses.
